What is the Product?

Tactical Training offers an interactive app in which customers have the opportunity to access drills, videos and techniques to help improve their skills in a variety of sports.

Why use Tactical Training?

Tactical Training acts as a virtual coach, by providing drills videos and techniques to increase your skills. Customers are given essential information which allows them to complete individual training, which is necessary as COVID-19 still has restrictions to maintain physical distancing in South Australia.

The LOCATION

Why Adelaide? With the business centered in Adelaide, customers can be directly contacted and greater control over the business can be obtained. Advertisements can be targeted at each club and be set up manually, while customer engagement can occur in person.

Base of Operation: To run the business, information can be directly obtained from a home environment, through the use of computer and an email.

The OPERATION

How will the Business Operate?

  • App published on the App Store and Play Store

  • Once downloaded, desired subscription is chosen

The business will operate through an app published on the App Store and Play Store, providing customers to easily access our product. Once customers have installed the app, they can choose their desired sport and begin training through the drills, techniques and videos uploaded by myself. 

​

How will information be collected?

Through coaches, the internet and customer feedback, all the resources necessary for the product to operate can be obtained. This will then be consolidated into a viable format in which customers can interact with, such as dot point drills, equipment and videos.

Registration

In order for the business to operate, it will need to be published onto the App Store and Google Play. One the app has been create through a website individually, it can be signed up for publication on each store and then through in app subscription purchases, stores will obtain 30% of profit gained.

Legal Considerations

As information will be gathered from key partners of coaches and trainers, when publishing information, consent is required. Once consent has been given to publish their information, it will be uploaded to the app for customers to access and use to train.

Economical Impact

As seen in the graphs below, employment rates, job vacancies and hours worked have decreased significantly due to COVID-19. To support customer needs, pricing is designed to be affordable, at 1-5 dollars per month as customers will be unwilling to pay high amounts in this time.

One opportunity that arises within the business is the use of social media to advertise Tactical Training. As seen, the average time being spent on social media is increasing yearly, so customers can be reached through this.

As seen, several years are spent on social media in a lifetime. As my customers will be teenagers, they can be reached through social media, as they will likely see advertising for Tactical Training in this time.

As seen, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube are the most popular forms of advertising. Therefore, this opportunity will be to complete online advertising through the use of these platforms to gain customers.

Validation Board

The Validation Canvas was an effective tool that was created through customer interactions. This helped narrow the problem and make it more specific, so that customer needs and assumptions could be met.
